Just a Potamus Golf was never built to be another golf shop.

It was built on the belief that golfers deserve better. Better equipment. Better coaching. Better craftsmanship. And above all, solutions designed around the individual instead of the masses.

What began with precision alignment dots and launch monitor markers, now trusted by golf simulators, fitting studios, collegiate programs, retailers, and tour professionals around the world, has evolved into a boutique golf performance workshop where engineering, craftsmanship, and coaching come together.

Today, we specialize in custom club building, precision club fitting, refinishing, milling, welding, weighting, laser engraving, restoration, traditional blacksmithing techniques, and our proprietary Black QPQ finish, recognized for its exceptional durability and trusted by manufacturers. Every project is approached with the same philosophy: build it right, build it with purpose, and never compromise on quality.

That same philosophy extends into our coaching. Whether working with golfers in person or around the world through virtual instruction, we believe equipment and technique should never be treated as separate conversations. The best results come when coaching, club fitting, and equipment work together as one complete performance system.

The name "Just a Potamus Golf" is deeply personal. It was inspired by our son, who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and whose lifelong nickname, "Potamus," became the heart of our company. Through him, we've seen firsthand how golf can build confidence, improve focus, encourage problem-solving, and create meaningful connections for neurodiverse individuals.

That experience continues to shape our mission. We are committed to helping more golfers experience the game by supporting initiatives such as retrofitting clubs for children, creating properly fit equipment, and making golf more accessible for those who might otherwise be overlooked.
